One-off wins are not a strategy

Most content problems are architecture problems. A viral post is luck. A format that produces one every week is a system, and systems are what I build.

At Twitch, a unified programming model that turned tentpole moments into repeatable audience behavior across sports, music, and gaming. At X Games, an always-on engine that doubled as the GTM machine for every tentpole — 1,040% impressions growth and 2.5x sponsorship and ad revenue, organic only. At Ripper GC, series formats and rollout playbooks that let a small team operate at league scale, then got adopted league-wide.

The parts: repeatable formats, programming calendars, editorial standards, content discovery and merchandising, publishing workflows, and the measurement that tells you which formats to kill. Audience development is the job; the system is how it holds. Content stops being a stream of one-offs and becomes an operation — one that grows audiences and gives commercial teams branded content to actually sell.
